We are happy to announce that Gabriel was granted Canadian citizenship yesterday (Friday). Mommy and Daddy received the phone call from Gabriel’s social worker late yesterday morning as we were driving back to Durban from Matatiele. Later in the day, Mommy, Daddy and Gabriel attended the office of the Honourable Canadian Consul in Durban to apply for Gabriel’s temporary passport. Please continue to pray that the temporary passport will be delivered to us before our planned departure – next Friday. As much as we have absolutely loved our time here in South Africa, Mommy and Daddy are quite anxious to introduce Gabriel to his new home land and to settle back into their *real* home.
